Arden’s founder and CEO Bob Sachs is passionate about people. His corporate goal is
for Arden to “be a source of pride for its people.” He has a long record of leadership in business,
education and charitable organizations. He is proud of his over 40 plus year marriage to Martie, and his
two children and their families. Whether serving as Chairman of the International Housewares
Association and President of the Harvard Club of Eastern Michigan, or walking through one of
Arden’s seven facilities, Bob’s commitment is to the people he serves, old-timers or
newcomers. His greatest pleasure is accomplishment and personal growth of Arden’s dedicated
employees.
Bob and Martie live happily in the same house they bought in 1963. Bob’s productivity and
excitement in the development of Arden continues to grow, to this day.
