Description:
Responsibilities:
- Be the primary functional contact to the business departments.
- Devise / create solutions to support ongoing and future business needs.
- Support the IT team in development activities through programming and programming assistance.
- Provide end-user support.
- Assists in the research and analysis of existing systems and program requirements.
- Performs data analysis to support internal and external project needs.
- Develops test plans and perform unit / integration /regression testing as required.
- Creates appropriate documentation such as technical documentation and user guides.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent or related experience.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a Software Development/ Analyst role, preferably in a Manufacturing or Retail environment, and exposure to the following:
- SAP ABAP programming
- Experience with SAP SmartForm, SAP Script, Business Objects/Crystal Reports
- Implementation Experience with ECC 6.0
- Experience with SAP Configuration
- Experience in business processes in some of the following functional areas: SD, MM, PP, PM, FI/CO, HR, BW, CRM, or APO
- Web authoring languages such as Javascript, CSS, HTML.
- One or more structured programming languages (C, C++, Java, PHP, etc).
- T-SQL or equivalent database programming.
- Data modeling, data transformation, queries optimization.
- All phases of software development from the initial requirements definition through implementation and support.
- Proficiency in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, Project, Visio.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience monitoring progress of projects and working independently and proactively within tight, concurrent deadlines with accuracy.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively internally and externally in a team environment.
