The only freestanding hospital in Michigan dedicated exclusively to caring for children, Children’s Hospital has been devoted to children’s health care since its founding in 1886. Arden holds a silent auction to benefit Children’s Hospital during our annual Holiday Celebration. As of 2011, Arden and its employees have contributed over $50,000 in donations!

The mission of United Way for Southeastern Michigan is to mobilize the caring power of local residents to improve communities and lives in meaningful ways! Their focus is on education, income and basic needs. Arden gives employees the chance to fill out contribution cards and donate to help the United Way organization.

Arden’s GPS team consists of employee leaders from Arden Companies facilities worldwide. The team educates employees on sustainability issues and drives solutions in our company practices. Team projects include greenhouse gas and waste inventories, recycling programs, and energy efficient lighting systems.

Since its inception in 1998, Arden’s Employee Scholarship Program has helped 105 students and provided $245,700 to assist employees with higher education costs for their dependents. The program grants scholarship awards to employees’ children and grandchildren that are working towards a certificate or diploma at a recognized and accredited institution.
