This individual will work directly with the Poly Line Supervisor and Poly Team to ensure on time, complete and correct manufacturing of outdoor lifestyle products. Must have a passion for a healthy and safe manufacturing work environment with a focus on Continuous Improvement in a high-performance culture.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership to the Poly Line Staff in the absence of the Supervisor.
- Assist with formulating and analyzing project completion dates and times.
- Trouble shooting maintenance issues and assist with repairs to reduce significant downtime in the event of an emergency.
- Ensure that all appropriate communication is communicated to the supervisor immediately if the Poly line should stop operating or encounter major delays.
- Communicate with supervisor daily, ensure that The Daily Production Report is complete and accurate.
- Develop deep knowledge of Poly Line, mechanical, electrical requirements, and operational procedures.
- Adhere and enforce Poly Line Operating Guidelines and quality expectations.
- Ensure that a health and safety culture is maintained by demonstrating and adhering to safety and housekeeping standards.
- Adhere, support, demonstrate and participate in all company policies, procedures, and programs.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
- PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 Years of experience in manufacturing preferred.
- High School Diploma required
- Ability to communicate with management and co-workers in a Bilingual (Spanish) work environment.
- Mechanical or Electrical Supervisory experience preferred.
- Must demonstrate a mechanical aptitude by example of previous experience.
- Must demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, ability to execute and prioritize workload.
- Ability to motivate self and others to succeed in a fast paced ever changing environment.
