Arden Companies, a growing and leading manufacturer and distributor of Patio and Outdoor Lifestyle products to the leading retailers in the USA and Canada, has an exciting opportunity for a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor – eCommerce to be based in Sanford, NC.

Reporting to the Director of eCommerce, the 3rd Shift Production Supervisor – eCommerce will manage the eCommerce team to ensure a safe environment to manufacture, pick, pack, and ship products sold via eCommerce for direct shipment to customers. The Supervisor will ensure that all elements of the process are conducted On time, Complete, and Correct. The Supervisor will also provide feedback to include any concerns or suggestions to improve safety, workflow, personnel, infrastructure, quality and product.

Successful candidates must have a passion for ensuring employee safety and a Customer-focused mindset. Strong analytical abilities, a continuous improvement mindset and effective communication and relationship building skills are a must for this position.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Departmental Safety, Safety Training, and Housekeeping.
  • Reinforce company policies, practices and procedures.
  • Provide leadership in conflict resolution with expectations, application, and follow up.
  • Coordinate with management on staffing issues, call-outs, sick-time and scheduling of personnel.
  • Ensure accurate labor reporting and timesheets.
  • Supervise employees in designated production and shipping operations to effectively execute the production plan and ship on time, complete, and correct.
  • Work with maintenance personnel in controlling downtime, identifying PM/PdM strategies and increasing uptime of equipment and infrastructure.
  • Demonstrate care and integrity with Arden owned property, equipment and supplies.
  • Responsible for managing inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure all Quality requirements are followed and respond timely and appropriately to Quality issues such as any necessary rework or repairs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years manufacturing management experience with knowledge of production processes in high volume manufacturing plant.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and people management/development skills to be a change agent.
  • Highly motivated and organized individual who is able to function successfully in a fast paced, cross-functional team environment.
  • Must have a passion for employee health & safety, manufacturing and continuous improvement in a high-performance culture.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • ERP process experience needed (SAP is a plus).
  • Valid Driver License required to travel to other local Arden buildings, must provide own means of transportation.
  • Proven strong communication skills; Bi-Lingual (Spanish) is a must.
