Description

Arden Companies, a growing Bingham Farms, Michigan based leading manufacturer and distributor of Patio and Outdoor Lifestyle products to the leading retailers in the USA and Canada, has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Account Coordinator to be based in the corporate headquarters.

Reporting to the Customer Account Coordination Manager, the Customer Account Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our largest retail customer accounts.  Qualified candidates possess exceptional communication skills, strong problem solving skills and attention to detail enabling them to resolve problems independently with extensive customer contact via telephone and email.

 

Responsibilities

  • Customer follow-up both internal and external is key to this position
  • Monitor our customer service levels and resolving customer inquiries/problems
  • Communicate with our manufacturing plants to resolve customer questions
  • Monitor in-bound purchase orders and keying in manual orders
  • Maintain customer account product summaries
  • Initiate and maintain all product information attributes within internal and customer systems
  • Generate sales and customer specific reports
  • Team with all departments within Arden to ensure consistent customer service at all level
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Special Projects as assigned

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proven track record of Account Management and Customer Service, with 1 – 2 years related experience in a professional setting
  • Computer literacy with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; prior experience with SAP is extremely helpful
  • Experience working with cross functional teams
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and presentation skills
