Description

The eCommerce Supervisor will work alongside the eCommerce team to ensure a safe environment to provide the “made-to-order” products required for direct shipment to customers, On time, Complete, and Correct. Provide feedback to include any concerns or suggestions to improve safety, the work assignment(s), personnel, infrastructure, quality and product.

 

Responsibilities

  • Departmental Safety and Safety training.
  • Will back up the Senior eCommerce Supervisor when out and will be responsible to Supervise 2nd shift as needed.
  • Demonstrate proficiency and leadership in conflict resolution with expectations, application, and follow up.
  • Reinforce company policies, practices and procedures.
  • Coordinate with management on staffing issues, call-outs, sick-time and scheduling of personnel.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring of shipping and warehouse personnel with regards to training, retraining and cross-training within and outside of the department.
  • Ensure accuracy of time sheets and reconcile.
  • Make assignments to crew, matching skill sets with required roles and provide performance feedback to employees both formally and informally.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting roadblocks and bottlenecks by suggesting new ideas and remedies.
  • Work with maintenance personnel in controlling downtime, identifying PM/PdM strategies and increasing uptime of equipment and infrastructure.
  • Coordinate and communicate with other supervisors and managers as needed to ensure safety, quality and efficiency standards are met.
  • Demonstrate integrity and ensure work standards and operating guidelines are followed while maintaining productivity levels through fair and consistent supervision of assigned personnel.
  • Ensure all quality requirements are followed, respond appropriately to quality issues and handle any necessary rework and repairs in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate care and integrity with Arden owned property, equipment and supplies.
  • Exhibit flexibility in an ever changing work environment that is focused on our customers’ needs.
  • Responsible for housekeeping and other duties as assigned by management while promoting, supporting and participating in all company policies, procedures and programs.

 

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills at multiple levels (bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus).
  • Analytical and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to motivate self and others to succeed in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • ERP process experience needed (SAP is a plus).
  • Ability to maximize output with sound strategies and planning.
  • Valid driver’s license required to travel to other local Arden buildings (must provide own means of transportation).
  • Ability to travel to other Arden facilities and related businesses (vendors, customers, etc.) may be required.
  • Motorized equipment operator (pallet jack, fork lift, clamp truck, reach truck).
