Arden Companies, a growing Bingham Farms, Michigan based leading manufacturer and distributor of Patio and Outdoor Lifestyle products to the leading retailers in the USA and Canada, has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst Intern.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Pricing Strategy, the Financial Analyst Intern will be responsible for a variety of accounting and finance duties, focusing on accounts receivable, and should be comfortable rotating those responsibilities to support the team and round out individual skill sets.

The Work
- Post payments by cash, checks and electronic transactions
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records
- Submit chargebacks and process adjustments
- Document collection and check
- Special projects too

Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field such as Mathematics or Statistics – or recent graduate.
- Organization skills a must
- Passion for the functions outlined in “the work” section above
- Ability to be discreet is essential
- Inner drive – being self-motivated is critical
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SAP
- Experience in ADP WFN and eTime
- Proficiency in Excel and v lookups, pivots, macros are a plus
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures, US GAAP, SOX
