The Global Quality Manager is an experienced leader in quality systems development, supplier management, audit & compliance, and product safety.  This position will ensure that our customers receive quality products by managing and continually improving our quality systems, processes, and people. Primary responsibilities include shaping the Central Home Brands global quality initiative, implementing best practices in our US locations and abroad, leading a strong global quality team, ensuring a responsible supply network worldwide, managing product and environmental safety, and improving overall customer satisfaction.


Measures of Success:

·       Design, deploy, and maintain the Central Home Brands Quality Management System (QMS)

·       Be the leader to a geographically and culturally diverse group of quality professionals across the globe

·       Continually scrutinize and provide value-added solutions for all activities that affect product quality

·       Create, implement, and manage best business practices for quality management, supplier audit & compliance, testing criteria, and associated reporting

·       Develop and manage best-in-class reporting to suppliers, customers, and management including CAPA’s, product /factory audit summaries, QA budget/ expense, end-user feedback, etc.

·       Develop standard operating procedures based on international business protocols for global implementation.

·       Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to implement, improve, and execute QA/QC, audit, safety, and testing standards.

·       Ensure customer 3rd party testing requirements are satisfied on time and within budget

·       Be a subject matter expert on quality, regulatory, and legal requirements impacting business unit’s product

·       Provide quality related advice and technical solutions to enhance product performance, quality, and total value for internal, and external stakeholders.

·       Review current standards/ policies and update as needed to maintain the highest level of industry compliance



  • Ideal Candidate Attributes:
·       At least 10 years previous experience in a QA Manager role with experience developing quality strategy and systems, as well as managing, developing, and motivating both a domestic and international quality team

·       Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, or industrial technologies preferred

·       Textile or textile industry, soft home, or apparel experience

·       Thorough knowledge of manufacturing related quality assurance methodologies and standards

·       Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

·       Experience working with ANSI or other sampling tables

·       Working knowledge of ISO, ASTM, AATCC standards and test methods

·       Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment is a plus

·       Able to manage multiple projects concurrently, in a fast-paced environment

·       Strong analytical skills

·       Able to make decisions autonomously and work effectively with minimal supervision

·       Great attention to detail, results driven approach

·       Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

·       Willingness to travel domestically and internationally


Working Conditions:

  • Located in one of our plant locations – Victorville, CA, Sanford, NC, or Fort Wayne, IN,
  • Travel – 40 – 50% travel domestic, 10% international
