Arden Companies, the leading manufacturer and distributor of Patio and Outdoor Lifestyle products to the leading retailers in the USA and Canada, has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Analyst to be based in the corporate headquarters in Bingham Farms, MI.

The Logistics Analyst is responsible for driving efficiencies and ensuring compliance in shipping, tracking/tracing, and various SAP transactions.  Candidates that enjoy working at a granular level, while thinking strategically and are eager to build and create process improvements not just duplicate existing practices will find this position especially rewarding and will be poised to succeed in our high performance based environment.

To be successful at Arden you must have a killer work ethic, a decent sense of humor, and it’s helpful if you can get really, really passionate about outdoor cushions (yes, it’s possible they are pretty awesome and way more complex than you’d think!). You must be ready and willing to jump in with both feet right away to help wherever you can. Training related to our processes is provided but you must be able to operate with a “learn as you go – take initiative” mindset.

This role presents a unique opportunity for exposure to all levels within the company.  As the Logistics Analyst, you will be involved with all departments company-wide such as; Purchasing, Global Sourcing, Marketing, Plant Operations and Sales, gaining a well-rounded understanding of our business.  This position will also receive on the job training in customs regulations and other regulatory compliance topics.



  • Support the logistics team through shipping management and report generation
  • Maintain weekly metrics to monitor and control key retailer shipping compliance
  • Cost study and order building support
  • Prepare reports for the Supply Chain team
  • Supply Chain team expert for Direct Import operations
  • Process Direct Import shipment paperwork
  • Communicate and coordinate shipment compliance
  • Process import vendor payments
  • Warehouse capacity evaluation for domestic plants



  • Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
  • Previous logistics, planning, purchasing experience is a plus
  • Proven history of successful multitasking through prioritization and clear communication
  • Fearless problem solver who can effectively analyze a problem and identify the path to the solution
  • History of top level performance in both previous employment and academic achievement
  • Ability to function with multiple teams on a broad spectrum of issues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, working knowledge of Microsoft Access a plus
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis
