Description
Arden Companies is seeking a Maintenance Lead to lead a team of maintenance technicians in daily operations with a focus on achieving efficiently run projects and operational functions. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all machines and conveyors, electrical and mechanical, as well as building and maintaining Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Preventative Maintenance (PMs), and Corrective Maintenance (CM) procedures and protocols. This team lead will also perform morning meetings with team members, respond for immediate repair of production equipment, perform maintenance work orders, and assist in the implementation of a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software).
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and support in promoting, implementing, and improving all safety policies, programs, and 5s initiatives to ensure the health and safety of all employees.
- Promotes safe work practices and procedures for the members in their maintenance team.
- Report any employee or process concerns to department coordinator or supervisor as applicable.
- Prepare and verify applicable record keeping (reports, forms, audits, logs etc.) and adhere to the corporate record retention policy.
- Assist in training and transition of new or transferred employees in the proper processes for maintenance.
- Promote, support, participate and enforce all company policies, procedures, and programs fully, fairly, and consistently.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
- Knowledge and/or applicable job experience.
- Knowledge and/or demonstrated leadership experience.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a preferred.
- Ability to complete and pass Arden’s basic math skills test.
- Ability and flexibility to perform assigned tasks in a timely manner and maintain momentum during production changes.
