This individual should be able to meet the physical demands of the job such as climbing ladders and lifting over 50lbs. The candidate must meet, maintain, the companies quality standard. Ensure all packaging, labels and quality of the product is maintained on a regular basis. This individual will operate all tools such as scanners and forkliftsin a safe manner. The individual will perform all other duties assigned to him or her by the management.
- Examine and inspect product for wear or defects, reporting any damage to quality control
- Load or unload trucks
- Load or unload carts
- Pick, Pull and stage orders
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses or off -site warehouse.
- Receive and count product, and record data manually or using computer.
- Mark product using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
- Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
- Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
- Pack, seal, label, to prepare materials for shipping or storing using hand tools or manually affix to product
- Maintain a safe and efficient work conditions
- Any other job duties assigned.
