Description
The Demand Planner will be responsible for collaborating with internal and external retail customers, and as such, will be in a highly visible, strategically important role with Arden. Strong analytical abilities, a continuous improvement mindset and effective communication and relationship building skills are a must for this position.
Responsibilities
- Aid in developing customer specific reviews and analysis to include:
- Customer specific templates and formats;
- Weekly POS summaries;
- Retail Link POS and category data insights;
- Provide data analysis insights to support and drive key business decisions
- Gather and compile marketplace product information
- Demand planning and replenishment/inventory management
- Assist in the development of strategic business plans and thought leadership to help drive “Best in Class” practices
- Provide data analysis insights to support and drive key business decisions
- Participate in Arden’s Big Data Initiative to utilize business intelligence to positively impact the business
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably analytical/business related).
- Two years of work experience in forecasting or replenishment related experience.
- Strong consumer focus.
- Ability to function and lead in a collaborative team environment; self-directed, motivated and highly flexible.
- Creative and analytic thinker who can easily manage multiple tasks and prioritize work within tight, concurrent deadlines.
- Ability to fully utilize all Microsoft Office software at an expert level, including Excel (Pivot Tables, vlookups, advanced formulas, macros), PowerPoint and Access.
- Must be willing to travel domestically up to 15%.
