Description
The Senior Associate Manager, Marketing and Design is responsible for driving the strategic development of product and marketing materials for their assigned key account(s) which will help Arden drive profitable sales and increase revenue. They are a key part of a cross-functional team that brings new and innovative product lines and comprehensive programs to life.
Responsibilities
- Develop and leverage strong relationships to lead the development and execution of a holistic strategy including translation of trend and design to compliant and impactful product and marketing materials.
- Become an expert in the category and product by conducting market research, competitive analysis, and consumer surveys.
- Identify new product opportunities, product extensions and promotional opportunities and coordinate the development through our Product Development processes which meets the required timeline for launch.
- Work with advertising and buying on strategically planning and organizing photo and video shoots, utilize product tracking software to coordinate and request product samples and arrange for their storage, organization, and dispensation.
- Become the expert in product and merchandising requirements for assigned area of responsibility and ensure all products launch within this framework.
- Prepare written copy for product launch which includes key SEO words and meets each website’s requirements.
- Utilize PLM, Salesforce, and Review Studio platforms to approve and launch final products. This includes reviewing item drawings, reviewing product specific details, approving samples, approving photography, graphic design and videos utilized in marketing to the end consumer.
- Help prepare presentation materials (slides, samples, renderings, etc.) for retailer meetings, as it pertains to industry trends, product, planograms, company overview, etc.
- Primary responsibilities for this position fall within marketing but additional support of the teams’ design initiatives may include projects including but not limited to directing textile designers in the creation of art and approvals of production color standards.

Qualifications
- 2-3 years of related experience, preferably in marketing soft lines home products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, self-starter who demonstrates great initiative, excellent attention to detail and organization.
- Strong conceptual, process, and planning skills.
- Ability to see color accurately and issue verbal and written direction related to approval and corrections.
- Demonstrate a professional demeanor and appearance and be able to relate to customers.
- Both creative and analytic thinker who can manage multiple tasks and prioritize working within tight, concurrent deadlines.
- Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 15%)
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, and Excel. Preference granted to candidates with some experience in Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop).
